I hope the vast majority reading this will recognize those words. They were spoken by Abraham Lincoln and were talking about another issue that divided the United States. It is interesting how in some ways things never change and messages need to be repeated ad infinitum.
I thought the divisive politics would be toned down to the point that it wouldn't still be thrust into my life now that the elections are over. I'm listening to the radio and they are still talking in circles about the election with callers on both sides heaping trash on the other. I will credit the host of the show. Her political views are not mine, yet she is trying to rein in the extremist callers on both sides of the coin.
I shouldn't have stopped to write this. Time to get back to work.
