Nite Mirror
My computer has started developing another annoying habit. Every now and then the screen goes wacky to the point I can't see what's on it (sort of a digital version of TV snow, but not quite). Well, as I've discovered the fix is give the computer a slap. I think I have a masochistic computer.

In other news, I bought a computer poker program and from the reviews I read before I bought it, it's one of the better ones. Although it took me a few days to warm up to it. The feature I've liked best is the online play money site that is exclusive to this program.

To get around the play money problem I've talked about in my poker journal, they have freerolls that you need to play and win before you can play in other games. Well, just tonight I hit the limit I'm allowed to win in those free rolls (50 PAX, as they call their play money -- I now have won 54 PAX through their freerolls)

Hmm, I just realized I got the freeroll perfecta -- if poker has that. I first came in 4th place several days ago, then 3rd. (and then blew what I won through those two freerolls on a regular PAX no limit table and was forced back to the freerolls vowing to win the maximum before going back to the regular tables again).

Well, yesterday I played one freeroll and took 2nd place.

Today, I played another freeroll at that site and came in first when my pocket 2s hit on the river to give me trips after my desperally short stacked oppoinent went all in with a pair of aces. I was just playing the odds knowing if I doubled him up he'd still only have about 4,000 and my stack would be down to around 10,000 chips -- still an exceptable lead, I just wouldn't risk him doubling again and losing my chip lead -- and if I got lucky on the other hand, as I did, I'd win it all. :-)

Hmm, now that I've written what I have, all but the first paragraph prob. should be moved over to my poker journal. Ah, I wrote this intending it here, and that's where it'll stay.

Nah, nah, na, nah, nah! :-P
