Everyone has their faults, fallacies, and fantasies. We are all flawed, and view the world through a colored lens" formed from both our experiences and more importantly our attitudes to those experiences. That "colored lens puts our own spin on the world around us and reinforces the fallacies we have about how the world works and our place in it. Which brings me to fantasies, we all have them (Mmm, no I'm not talking about *those* fantasies, ... well, if you really want to talk about them you can contact me and ... um, let's get back to my topic). The fantasies I'm referring to here are related to what I said about fallacies (I've never denied I like alliteration).
So where am I going with this? I wish I knew. I don't have life's answers. If I did I'd be in a lot better shape than I am. However, there is one thing I do know about life. Occasionally we have to break out of our old patterns and "reshape that lens," so to speak.
I'm very good at coaching life from the sidelines. That's one of my faults which I'm trying to change. It's time to get back in the game. It's time to whack some new shapes into my lens. It's time ... for my supper. Gotta go, and keep going.
