This just in ...

I just discovered that Nomad Planets has their own website Even if Phil Rapchak, the bass guitar player, wasn't a friend I'd like Nomad Planets. My musical tastes are ... eclectic to say the least. My CD collection has everything from Gregorian Chants, Burl Ives, Pink Floyd, and AC/DC to name a few. And I do listen to them all on occasion.

Anyway, I'd classify Nomad Planets as playing a Folk Rock type of music to give you an idea of their sound. I like this band enough that bought their CD "Indestructible Drop."

The last time I talked to Phil, he said they were almost done with a new CD, but they've been working on it for over a year now. So I don't know how close "almost done" means. All I can say for sure is the new drummer they have gives them more rock and roll sound then the old drummer did. So when they finally get this new one out it will have a harder beat to it then their current CD.
