I try to avoid politics like the plague, and I wanted to make an off-comment comment about a single line in a post I just read on a political topic. So I'll paraphrase things here. Basically, the person's point was not to hold stupid things we do in "our 20's and 30's" against us later in life.|
My only comment to that is: I'm entering my late 30's, and I *still* want to do stupid things that will prevent my having a political career when I grow up. (Although given some of the things I have already done, I think I already can rule out being president when I grow up -- hmm, although I do think I made a post here when I turned 35 saying I'm now eligible to run for president of the US, but knew my chances were about zero even then).
Mom has never called me on my cellphone. I found out why today. For some reason she's been thinking that only other cellphones can call a cellphone. I tried explaining, but I'm not sure I got through to her.
