|Screen protector to watch protector

For Christmas this past year one of the presents I received was a new wrist watch. Given my past history with watches, I left the little plastic sheet over the crystal of the watch to protect it from scratches. A few days ago that plastic finally fell off.
Now, wanting to keep the watch face scratch free, I got an idea. I have a handheld computer and a needed accessory for that are plastic screen protector sheets. They do the same thing for handheld computers that that little piece of plastic protecting the watch faces does.
So today instead of pitching the old "worn out" plastic from my handheld's screen when I replaced the screen protector, I put it on my watch and cut it to size with a pair of scissors. I'm impressed at how well that worked.
