Nite Mirror
As any long time reader could guess, quiet is a theme here. I woke up in a weird mood, and forced myself to log on to the poker website to play (after feeding Fawn and making some coffee and instant oatmeal for myself).

Well, my mood improved as I did fairly well at poker again today. I am going to do some bragging behind the following lj cut, so if you'd rather not read it you don't have to. I also have a shorter version of this entry in my poker journal with the exact percentages.

I knew I was doing fairly well. However, when I brought up the stats the poker site was keeping on me for this morning's session. I was blown away. At the time I saw the stats I had been winning over 25% of the total hands I had seen (including the pre-flop folds of course), and the two completely amazing stats were if I did see a flop my winning percentage was 67%.

But wait, there's more! If the hand went all the way to a showdown I was winning over 70% of the time!

I was only caught bluffing once, but that was because a short stack went all in. I got everyone else to fold, but I had to show my bluff to take the side pot (where most of the money was -- so even though I was "caught" I still won that pot too).

Of course after I saw those stats it went to my head and the stats started dropping. I then bailed out of the game so my bankroll didn't take too big a dent in the profits I made.

Ya know, if I can keep this going I just might learn to like the ugly graphics the poker website I just switched to has. (majorly key phrase -- *if I can keep it going*).

Well, my stomach just rumbled, so I guess I'll post this and then I'll have some lunch. My next cup of coffee should be done brewing by now, and I'll cook a sausage to go with it.
