It's one of those days, cold and rainy. I guess the rain is supposed to be changing to snow. I've made it no secret that cold, rainy days are my perfect sleeping days.|
If it wasn't for Fawn, I would have stayed in bed far later today than I did. As it was I still slept later than what I thought I would last night when I went to bed.
Naturally, one of the first things I did when I did finally get up was turn on the radio. I got an update on Chicago Ed while listening. Last week I mentioned he's in bad shape both health-wise and money-wise. With no job or insurance and mounting medical costs, ... I truly feel for him.
I guess his plight being mentioned on the radio last Sunday helped. He's gotten thousands of cards, and (I hope) lots of donations (although I don't know about this latter). Apparently, his health took a turn for the worse this week. He had chest pains and they diagnosed it as blood poisoning from the dialysis he's been receiving.
I had other things to say, but suddenly they seem rather trivial to me. So I guess I'll just end this entry here.
