puzzle pirate stuff

On a whim I joined a crew on the Ice ocean (the beta testing ocean for the puzzle pirates game) some months ago. Well, other than going out on a couple runs with the captain of the crew, I can't say I've done much with the crew I belong to on Ice. So I had no aspirations of getting above the rank of officer in that crew because of my lack of seeing anyone in that crew much less interacting with them.

Tonight I log on and notice I was now a fleet officer. I look at the crew list again and recognized that the one Senior Officer in the crew was someone who I had pillaged with several times on the Midnight Ocean (where I do most of my playing). It's been a long time since I've seen her on Midnight, and I don't think I've ever seen her on Ice. However, I have a feeling her being an SO in this Ice crew may explain why I'm a fleet officer on Ice without much interaction at all in the crew there.
