Nite Mirror

I'm sitting here typing this still with some morning cobwebs in my head. I slept late today. For the last several nights before this, Fawn's been choosing to sleep in her crate. Sometime during the night, she actually crawled into the bed with me and I woke up to her snuggling with me.

Well, I let Fawn out for the morning and started getting ready for the day myself. I heard her stomp up the stairs obviously ready to come back inside. I opened the door and let her in.

Instead of trotting right past me and into the rest of the house like she usually does, she stopped just inside and started dry heaving before eventually throwing up. I shook my head and asked her why she couldn't have done that outside. I cleaned up her mess, and she just stood there. After a moment, I asked what she was waiting for and to move into the rest of the house.

Apparently that's what she was waiting to hear. She did the trot past me which I was expecting in the first place and started acting herself again. The mailman got a loud greeting from her and as I'm typing this she's barking at the neighbor who closed their fence gate a bit too loudly to prove she's back to herself too. So I guess she's ok now.

Time to make some coffee and then write something.
