Nite Mirror
Now that I've read a bit of my friends list I've got a few more comments. :)

Thanks for pointing out that permanent accounts are for sale again, Jen. On monday I'm going to check what I laughingly call my finances. Although, the more I think about it, the more I think the free version of lj is good enough for me.

Also, just read about my mention that the remote for my radio was missing. It's still missing. Although, I've given up the search and am waiting for it to find its own way home as I'm sure it will eventually.

Paid accounts aren't for everyone. I have a lot of icons, and I really make use of my scrapbook (as a permanent user, I have 10 gig of storage space for pics (and only pics, unfortunately), so it's worth it for me.

I did enjoyed it when I had a paid account. I know cutting down on my icons was the main stress I had when I went back down to free. Other than those icons and once in a blue moon wanting to do a poll I haven't missed the paid account.

As for the scrapbook feature, that started after I had switched back to free. I've been using the space aol gives me to put up a webpage for pictures here. I was worried I'd lose that when I switched to the free version of aol, but I didn't. All of my pictures lately have been filtered to show H how much (or little -- depends) I've done with my house painting, and only she and I can see those (nothing special just an ugly house in various stages of being painted). Actually, I didn't even put them here. They were big pic's that I've been too lazy to make thumbnails of, so just put the links to where they are on aol for H.

Hmm, although now that I look at the prices, $20 for a year doesn't sound too bad.

LJ is really quite affordable, I think. I mostly like the secure feeling of having a permanent account. :)
