My mood's taken a nose dive the last few days, and consequently things that need to be done aren't getting done. |
I think I'll shorten something I just deleted to simply "I'm so tired." I had a few qualifiers with that, but after rereading the deleted paragraph, the rest was irrelevant compared to the three words in quotes above.
I need to get to the pharmacy to pick up some pills for Mom before it closes and then I've got to go cut the grass over at her house. I've been putting off cutting her yard far longer than I really should. So despite still not wanting to do yard work over at her house, I really can't avoid it anymore.
I put a link to a video over in my poker journal today. CardPlayer interviewed Howard Lederer about recent events in the US congress. As I said before, while in general I'm apolitical, the UIGEA law that congress passed has come the closest to getting me more involved in politics, and Mr. Lederer as much as said in the interview the political fight is about more than just poker. It's about basic freedoms and stopping a vocal sec of people who want to shove their morals on the whole nation and limit our choices. I found the interview very interesting.

Ah, I really should keep moving.
