My opinion is I'm against it. First of all, Chicago will explode. It's going to be an unbelievable celebration with just the Cubs getting there (I'm almost to the point of mentioning that 100 year thingie over the Cubs heads). I'm not sure I want that south side team fueling that explosion to even greater heights.
More to the point, the southsiders already had their World Series moment just a few years ago in 2005. Let the Cubs have theirs alone too. Maybe next year there can be a cross-town World Series between the Cubs and the White Sox, but I'm not sure I could handle it if both Chicago teams wind up representing their respective leagues in the World Series this year.
Although, Cubs vs. Angels is the World Series I'm guessing will happen this year. I believe the Angels are the best in the American League; Just as I know my Cubs are the best in the National League this year.
