Ok, today I'll be your newspaper boy and give ya'll a link to some news:|
That's the link to the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 which is all the rage in the US politics and our collapsing economy.
Personally, I think the trickle down economics that we've being trying since Reagan's time is past its time. Can we all try trickle up economics and give the lower and middle classes the breaks now?
Ah, maybe my sleep deprived brain should just shut up now, but I'm all for closing the country on account of poverty and us all trying emigrant farming down in Mexico. Hmm, first step would be reverse smuggling the hundreds of millions of us across the boarder. So who'll volunteer to distract the boarder guards with the line, "oh, look it's the Taco Bell dog!" while the rest of the country tip-toes past the other way?
Quote of the day:
"Ninety-eight percent of the adults in this country are decent, hard-working, honest Americans. It's the other lousy two percent that get all the publicity. But then--we elected them." - Lily Tomlin
