Under the idea that more browser options are better, I downloaded the latest version of the Opera browser to my computer earlier tonight. While going over the License agreement I found a clause that kind made me go WHAT?|
Um, for the record, I have no plans to use my computer in any situation involving vehicles that leave the ground or in places where an atom is torn asunder.
The clause that caught my eye is cut and pasted here:
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SOFTWARE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN (I) ON-LINE CONTROL OF AIRCRAFT, AIR TRAFFIC, AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION OR AIRCRAFT COMMUNICATIONS; OR (II) IN THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION OR MAINTENANCE OF ANY NUCLEAR FACILITY
