I do find it amusing when someone plops down a ridiculously huge amount on the micro limit tables and tries to impress/bully the table. Tonight a guy plopped down over a grand at my table and tried buying pots by betting and raising with nothing. No one at the table was either impressed or fooled by him. The guy left complaining he was going to go play "real poker" and how we didn't know how to play. From my point of view he was the only one at the table who didn't know how to play poker.
Well, I did make tonight's goal. Think I'm going to see if this Blacula movie is better with beer now.
[update] just checked my twitter account. Yesterday I set it up to follow a bunch of (mostly) poker players. Today I noticed that Mark Seif (a pro poker player I've seen on TV) is following my twitter. :)
Also got a bit of a thrill when a Chicago Tribune reporter I started following for coverage of some (at least locally famous) Chicago court trials is following my twittering too.
