It's one of those days where I can't seem to get up the energy to do anything. This happens to me a lot when the seasons change which is one of the reasons I like either summer or winter better than spring and fall.

On the plus side the caregiver is actually starting to take care of Mom to the point I don't feel like I have to be over there all the time. So hopefully things will be looking up for me.

For those who haven't been reading my friends only entries, a brief summary; Mom messed up her eyes a week ago, and there was some other fall out from that that has been corrected with medicine and time. Well, anyway, one of the things we have to do till her eyes heal is put drops in them.

She used to like the drops saying they were soothing. Now she says they burn. I'm thinking the nerves in her eyes have healed enough that she can feel the stuff now.
Oh, I just made a snack discovery while I was typing this. V8 juice goes well with garlic parmesan panetini. Actually, the panetini is a new discovery for me too (for those, like me, who hadn't heard of panetiti think dried out garlic bread -- or maybe garlic-flavored croutons that were never cut small).

A good caregiver means everything. Glad to hear that your Mom is in good hands, and you can get a bit of relief over that now.

V-8 juice is yummy. I tried some with a little Tequila, celery stalk and squeezed lime a couple months of ago. Of course I like V-8 plain, but it's also good "enhanced" :)
I've never tried panetini, but it sounds good. Is it like this?

I had my reservations at first about this caregiver (for one thing, she's only two years younger than my mom), but Mom likes her, and we do need help since Mom's hospital awhile back.

As for "enhanced" V8, I got to like V8 juice in college when I was on a Bloody Mary kick and spent a week or so experimenting. I finally came up with a Bloody Mary recipe of my own based on the spicy V8 instead of tomato juice. Too bad I never wrote it down and don't remember it any more.

Your link looks like the stuff, just a different brand. "New York Style" is the brand name of what I've been eating.
